35th anniversary of founding of the Party marked by public meeting in Tamilnadu

The Meeting was chaired by Com. Rajendran and attended by activists, sympathisers, and mass of workers and working people. Hundreds of posters were put up for the meeting in that region. Stage of the meeting was decorated with red flags and party banner. The meeting was addressed by representatives of the party. Leaders of the Thozilalar  Ottrumai Iyakkam  (Workers Unity Movement)and Tamizagha Vivasayegal Sangam (Tamilnadu Peasants Organization)also spoke on this occasion.

In his opening speech, Com. Rajendran highlighted the historical context of formation of the Communist Ghadar party of India and its militant and revolutionary stand throughout the last 35 years of its work. Our Party has taken up the mission of organising the working class to lead the peasantry and all the exploited and oppressed in the struggle against the ruling bourgeoisie, to carry out the Navnirman of Indian society, and build a modern socialist India. Our party is working hard to fulfill this aim. He emphasized the steadfast defence of Marxism Leninism by the Party over the years, and attention paid by the party to developing the theory of Indian revolution consistent with the fundamental teachings and conclusions of Marxism Leninism, in order to open the path to revolution and socialism.

Following his speech, several other comrades spoke with great enthusiasm about various aspects of the line and life of the party. They spoke of the consistent struggle of the Party since the nineteen eighties in exposing state terrorism including state organised communal violence, and in forging the unity of the people against state terrorism and for punishing the guilty.  They elaborated on the lessons of the struggle waged by the party against the program of globalisation through liberalisation and privatisation being pursued by successive governments of the bourgeoisie since the nineties.

Speakers elaborated on the struggle being waged by the party to mobilize the workers and peasants to fight for the reorientation of the economy from its present orientation which is geared to maximize profits of the capitalists, to one which will ensure fulfillment of the ever-growing needs of the people.

Speakers elaborated on the struggle being waged by the Party to mobilize the masses of Indian people around reconstituting the Indian Union with the aim of ensuring that sovereignty vests in the people.

Speakers spoke of the consistent efforts of the party to restore communist unity.

Meeting ended on an optimistic note that working class and peasantry of our country, organized under the leadership of the party, will certainly put an end to capitalist exploitation and oppression and open the path for progress for our people.
