Stop dividing people on basis of religion!

Over the past 11 days, crores of people all over the country have come out on the streets in peaceful protests. We have been demanding that the government immediately repeal the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and withdraw its decision to compile a country-wide NRC.
People from all walks of life have marched on the streets to defend the unity of our people. Through thousands of actions in cities and villages in every state of our vast country, we have expressed our resolute opposition to the efforts of the Modi government to divide our society on the basis of religion.
Instead of listening to the voices of the people of our country, the Central Government has unleashed savage repression on protesting people.
Over 25 people have lost their lives as a result of the state repression. Many people have suffered serious injuries. Thousands of people have been arrested on trumped-up charges.
The government has unleashed a disinformation campaign blaming people for the violence. The barbaric violence unleashed by the Indian state on the girl and boy students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University completely exposes this lying propaganda. The peaceful protests of people in various states like Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam and Delhi have been declared “unlawful” and massive repression has been unleashed.
The Communist Ghadar Party demands the immediate repeal of the communal, anti-people CAA. We demand that the government immediately withdraw its decision to compile an all India NRC and publicly announce this. We demand that the government immediately release all arrested persons, and stop its campaign of repression against the people of India.
An attack on one is an attack on all!
End the reign of terror on people!
